The preposterous horse factory of four
From a workshop – Horse Factor & The Female Waltz Dancers – done by Abake and Benjamin Thorel at the Valence ERBA about categorizing and archiving books, Sophie Demay, Mael Fournier-Comte, Afonso Duarte & Pedro Cid Proença, worked from the RCA library on composite brief they designed.
The idea was to print 100 versions of one publication, during a period of four days. Every 57 minutes a version was printed, rendering the process of editing and designing visible. “Books with a good title” was the starting point, but by the end, the production process became the theme.
