Lambe-lambe & Grafica Fidalga

The lambe-lambe is a vernacular printing tradition which name (translated by “lick-lick”) refers to the the way which these prints were pasted on the walls.
Urban and democratic printed paper form, at the origin used to promote the spectacles in Brazil, it continuous to post itself, from now on in places little snuffed such as the walls of building site or along the railways.
A little declining, the practice remains nevertheless, in particular in Sao Paulo in Fidalga printer where this manual artisanal know-how is exerted still today.
